Yoga Holidays
We are delighted to introduce Phil Ansty and Gill Haywood, who are yoga teachers based in Tring, Hertfordshire, England. Phil and Gill are our yoga teachers for our Sardinia yoga holiday and they are joining us for the first time in 2008. Phil teaches in the British Wheel of Yoga style whilst Gill teaches with the Viniyoga approach. Classes during the holiday will incorporate the two different types of yoga and will be challenging without ever leaving any student feeling alienated.

We understand all the requirements of putting together and running a great yoga holiday and it is for this reason that our goal is to combine all of these element: providing you with experienced yoga teachers, in a suitable venue and environment conductive to peace and tranquillity as well as providing a taste of traditional regional dishes paying particular attention to vegetarian and vegan dietary options; all with the emphasis on healthy fun, culture and relaxation. |
Sardinia is the ideal venue for an unforgettable yoga holiday; its warm, welcoming climate is perfect for leaving your stresses behind and relaxing in the healing Mediterranean sunshine. Our yoga holidays are a balance between yoga practice, walking and sight seeing, and combine the healthy benefits of quality daily yoga tuition and practice with the exploration of the landscapes and culture of this relatively unknown corner of Italy.

|
Our yoga weeks are holidays, not retreats and we have created this holiday for people wishing to unwind, relax and have a real experience of Sardinia. The time devoted daily to yoga usually won't exceed four hours, in one, or possibly two daily optional classes, leaving plenty of time for other activities or just to relax and chill out. Our aim is to keep you active, healthy and happy as well as giving you plenty of relaxing beachtime. |

We select our hotels based on comfort, location, food and charm with en-suite facilities. All our meals are taken as a group and we are served traditional local home cooking which is prepared daily using only the finest, freshest local ingredients and with what is in season. The wine is plentiful and is the perfect accompaniment to the local cuisine. Read an independent Trip Advisor review of Hotel Funtanarena, our chosen hotel for our yoga holiday, please click here...

Many thanks for all your hard work to make my week in Sardinia so enjoyable. I really had a great time, learnt a lot, gained a lot of confidence that I can become (with a lot more practice) a reasonable artist, and made some new friends who I hope to meet again on a future painting holiday. It really was a holiday that ended far too soon, so mille grazie once again.
Buona fortuna with all your future projects.

I just wanted to say thank you so very much to you and John for your wonderful hospitality! I thought you both put so much into it and worked so hard that I couldn't let it pass without saying a big thankyou to you both.
I thoroughly enjoyed the week with you, and your personal attention made it the best painting holiday I've been on. The hotel was lovely and Marisa also made us very welcome, as did your parents when we visited their vineyard.
Once again, many thanks and maybe we'll meet up next year.

John & Marias organising skills and attention to detail meant that nothing was left to chance and so this plus their friendliness and assistance, if needed, made this painting holiday a relaxing experience. All I had to do was enjoy the excellent food, wine and good company oh, and of course the painting. Being an all inclusive holiday, this was very good value for money.
