Painting Holidays
Perfect painting holidays in inspirational places
We are excited to introduce our programme for the forthcoming year when, as well as hosting our very popular painting holidays on the beautiful Mediterranean islands of Sardinia and Corsica and at the Castello di Santa Cristina on the Lazio/Tuscany border in central Italy, we will be spoiling our painting friends with the stunning landscapes and wonderful culture of our two new “jewels”: the Peloponnese region on mainland Greece and the Dordogne region in south-west France. Remember, all of our painting holidays are all-inclusive, with no single supplements and no hidden extras once you arrive at your destination, extras only run to buying an ice cream or a few postcards.
Would you like to know more?
For details on a specific painting holiday please click on a holiday date that interests you and it will open a PDF file with comprehensive information on that particular holiday. If you do not have a PDF reader installed on your computer download the latest free version of Adobe Reader which allows the viewing and printing of each holiday file.
Should you still be unable to open any of our holiday files please right click on the date you are interested in, choose the option save target as and then click save to save the file on your desktop. Now you should be able to open the saved file as normal from your desktop. If not, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@bellasardinia.com and we will be happy to mail you a copy!
Please note: due to the small group sizes we choose to operate, numbers are very limited so early booking is strongly recommended.

Why choose BellaSardinia.com?
Listening to our guestsDeciding on new painting holidays is easy at BellaSardinia! We just do more of the painting holidays you’ve told us you like, introduce new destinations you suggest, hire the tutors you recommend to us and run the holidays at a time that is convenient for you. The whole operation is really driven by our guests’ comments.
Book with confidence: your money is protectedAs a package holiday provider we are bound by the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tour Regulations 1992. Regulation 20 of these Regulations requires us to protect all customer pre-payments and therefore all monies received by us prior to the date of the holiday will be deposited in a Secure Trustee Account controlled by Independent Trustees who are professional people accepting the obligation for controlling this Account in our customers’ interest.
Your HostsAs usual John and/or Maria will host each and everyone of these painting holidays so we can leave our tutors free to concentrate on you. We pride ourselves on service with a personal touch and more importantly with a smile. We make the most of our local knowledge and always collaborate with local, small companies like ourselves. Nothing is left to chance on our holidays as everything is well researched, well planned and very well executed!
Experienced TutorsOn all our painting holidays, tutoring is offered on an individual basis, sensitive to ability and experience. Our tutors are vastly experienced and are attentive to all our guests' individual artistic needs. They teach for a total of 6-8 hours per day although you are, of course, free to take as many breaks as you wish: after all, you are on holiday!
AccommodationWe steer clear of the typical accommodation found in most holiday brochures, as we are convinced that our guests, just like us, prefer to stay in hand-picked country houses, friendly rustic retreats and small family-run hotels that retain the personal touch and give you a flavour of the local culture. Our selection criteria may result in losing some modern comforts such as mini-bars, cable TV, or a feature swimming pool; however we feel that our properties offer something more special, for example: stunning locations, convenient position, homely atmosphere, extremely hospitable hosts and/or delicious home cooking etc. We know because we have stayed in all of them and are confident that you will find them all equally as comfortable, practical and accommodating as we did.
No single room supplementsWe do not believe in discriminating against our single travellers, so we are once again pleased to confirm that the tradition continues: no single room supplements on any of our painting holidays! As many or all meals are taken as a group you have the opportunity to get to know everyone in the group over the length of the holiday.
Generous non painting partners and friends discountOur non painting partners and friends receive a generous £200 discount off the holiday price which means it is an ideal opportunity to include them in the fun this year!
Painting EquipmentAs usual we will supply all the equipment - lightweight easels, boards, sun umbrellas and folding chairs in all locations so you don’t have to worry about bringing cumbersome equipment. We send all our guests material lists which are personalised by the different tutors in advance of the holiday.
We hope to see you soon!
